Updates: Week Ending July 24, 2026
I don't have many trades to recap this week. There is one trade that I've held throughout this entire week and I am still holding through this weekend's close. I also entered one new trade, which is currently not showing much momentum.
For the past week, I've been scaling into a bigger short position on the EURAUD currency pair.

Price crossed below the 60-period exponential moving average (EMA60) on July 15th and held a bearish EMA bounce on July 20th. From a structural standpoint using the daily chart, I observed systematic selling.

On the 4-hour timeframe (H4), I have annotated each sell trade. I've been scaling in and building a short position as price pulls back to the EMA band.
Earlier in the week, I entered another sell trade on the SGDUSD currency pair. Here's the breakdown of the analysis.

Price is in a downtrend due to a couple of observations:
- The faster EMAs are trending below the slower EMAs
- Price is also trading below the EMA bands
- Price also crossed below a key support level
Regarding bulletpoint #3, price did pull back after crossing below the key level. However, the pull-back was not a strong reaction. Price drifted higher, signaling a lack of strong demand.

Dropping down to the 4-hour timeframe (H4), this is where things get a little bit challenging. Price is squeezing along the EMA bands. I timed my entry point based on what I thought was a pullback following a bearish cross to the ascending trend line.
At the end of week close, price did drift a bit higher by a few bars. However, it's within tolerance and nothing so concerning that I would manually exit this trade well before my stop loss.
